Kids in the Community
Day 1—Local
Grades 3 & Up (2023-24)
Small hands can bring BIG changes ~ never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can make a difference in our communities and the world! This program will focus on volunteering in our own communi-ties and making a difference right where we live. We will spend time at the Nursing Home, clean up parks in Zumbrota and Mazeppa and volunteer at the food shelf.
Tuesday, June 25th 11:00-4:00 PM (lunch of pizza/drink provided) ZMHS Cafeteria (Zumbrota) ZMES pick up is at 10:30 AM

Please inform the CE office 1 week prior if you would like the ZMES—Mazeppa pickup option.
Day 2—Global
Grades 3 & Up (2023-24)
Join us as we volunteer at Feed My Starving Children. The organization, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), exists to provide meals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. The meals we package will then get shipped to places that need them most. Join us as we volunteer to help a great cause and make a tangible difference today! Bring Money for Lunch at McDonalds once we’re done volunteering. Must wear closed toe shoes.
